Webb Green - CEO and Company Founder

Webb's vision became reality in 1986 when he opened The Research Department (the name was later changed to TRD Frameworks). Under his guidance, the company has continued to be one of the top research firms in the Northwest.

With his 40+ years in marketing and research, Webb has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from holding a variety of positions in research companies, advertising agencies and packaged goods firms. Webb's background and experience serve as an invaluable resource to our clients as he provides a reference point for collaborative discussions within the organization.

Webb holds an MBA from California State University and has done post-graduate work at Harvard University, the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Washington.

Webb enjoys traveling and visiting antique stores for military memorabilia and is an opera buff. He is knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics from wine to building materials (a discourse on the origins of linoleum, perhaps?) and is an engaging conversationalist.

Debora Scott - Senior Vice President

Debora has more than 25 years combined experience in marketing, advertising and marketing research, and has been with TRD Frameworks since 1998. Prior to donning her "research hat" at TRD, Debora held positions on both the client and agency sides in advertising and brand management in Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle. This marketing experience, along with her consumer research expertise gives her the ability to frame research results within a big picture context, especially in the areas of new product marketing, branding and positioning.

Debora manages most of TRD's qualitative research and is a skilled focus group moderator who is also comfortable slicing and dicing data in large-scale quantitative studies.

Debora holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Oregon.

Her work with a variety of food and wine clients over the years has fueled a passion for food and wine. A self-described "foodie," she can often be found trolling grocery and farmer's markets for unique new edible products, reading food magazines or in her kitchen cooking for family and friends.

Katherine Hobbs - Senior Vice President

Katherine has worked in marketing research - on both the client and the supplier side for over 25 years and has worked for TRD Frameworks since 1990.

Katherine's research experience spans a broad range of clients and industries, with extensive experience in designing and implementing large scale multi-national research projects for Fortune 500 clients. Katherine's meticulous attention to detail makes her particularly skilled in questionnaire design, data analysis and reporting. Katherine is adept at selecting the appropriate methodology to fit each project, including transitioning tracking studies from telephone to online methodology, as appropriate. Although Katherine has spent most of her recent career working on quantitative projects, she is also a trained focus group moderator.

An outstanding writer and editor, Katherine has been instrumental in designing and updating TRD's reporting and proposal formats, as well as constructing custom reporting formats to fit clients' specific needs. In addition, Katherine is working on updating TRD's website content and design.

A career researcher, Katherine has held research positions at two other local marketing research firms, as well as at Seafirst Bank (now Bank of America). Katherine loves turning reams of data into client-friendly reports which offer targeted and insightful marketing recommendations.

Katherine is passionate about riding and showing her Morgan horse and spends much of her free time at the barn. A Seattle native, Katherine loves saltwater beaches and spending time outdoors on her bike or in her kayak.

Mary Meister - Senior Associate

Mary has over 30 years of marketing research experience and has worked with TRD Frameworks since 1988. Mary's career has spanned a wide range of ad agency and branding/design firm research and strategy experience in a number of major markets - Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, San Francisco and Seattle. Her experience as a senior manager and board member for the Canadian office of a large international advertising agency helps her put marketing research in the larger context of business strategy. Her previous careers in nursing and education also give her a unique insight into the health care and education industries.

Mary is particularly skilled in designing research programs related to branding and packaging design, marketing and communications strategy and creative problem solving through research design. Mary's extensive experience in both qualitative (focus group moderation, in depth in-person and telephone interviewing) and quantitative research, including segmentation and conjoint designs provides the perspective required to match the research method to a particular client's situation.

In her spare time Mary walks all around Seattle for exercise as well as toils "lovingly" in her yard while coaching neighbors on maintaining their bit of "green" for a healthy and beautiful neighborhood. Mary also organizes the annual neighborhood picnic where each year the kids anticipate throwing water balloons at her as she tries to dodge them!

Mary holds an MBA in Marketing and Hospital and Health Services Administration from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, at Northwestern University. She also has an M.S. in Community Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco.
